Cathy Valencia celebrates Thanksgiving

Cathy Valencia ND, CEO of the Cathy Valencia Advanced Skin Clinic, celebrated Thanksgiving with the CV family after nearly two years of a pandemic and amid several lockdowns. Valencia have been very grateful for all the blessings they continuously receive as they also announced the launch of their newest Certified CV endorser, Jessy Mendiola at the Manila House Private Club, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.

Prominent CV family celebrities such as Annabelle Rama, Ruffa Gutierrez, Danica Sotto, Sunshine Cruz, Elisse Joson, Marco Gumabao, Enzo Pineda and other closest friends and family members gathered and celebrated a another milestone of Cathy Valencia ND and Cathy Valencia Advanced Skin Clinic.

With the success of the CV brand over the years, it has become the most trusted and visited skin clinic in the country and abroad, in Tokyo and Nagoya, Japan. As the business continuously grows and develops in accordance with the brand’s mission, “We Make Great Skin Happen”, CEO herself, Cathy Valencia ND felt an immense sense of gratitude for all the love and the support. In order to give back to the community, Valencia is also passionate about donating to local and international charities through her “Joy of Compassion” charities.

Additionally, she proudly introduced Joaquin Anaya, the new Vice President of Operations. Mr. Anaya is also a professional polo player from Argentina and one of the certified CV endorsers.

Certified CV endorsers, family and closest friends rejoiced and enjoyed the night. Cathy Valencia ND ended the evening with a grateful heart. Indeed, it was an unforgettable night.


As we all know, the live events and concert industry has been one of the hardest hit industries since the start of Covid-19 last year. Thousands of independent live production professionals are struggling to make ends meet.

In light of this, Ortigas and Company is teaming up with ATeam (Alcasid Total Entertainment and Artist Management) to help celebrate the Christmas season for our dear friends in independent production.

“Christmas with the Stars” will be an online fundraising concert (broadcast via on December 11, with 100% of the proceeds going to the Independent Production Workers Group (IPWG). Members of the IPWG include freelancers who work for live events and concerts. It will be a way to ensure that our friends who have worked in the shadow of our shows and concerts can celebrate the season with joy.

The show will be hosted by the “Kilabotitos”, Ogie Alcasid and Ian Veneracion, and will feature some of the best concert artists in the country. The segment host is Anthony Barion The guest artists are Regine Velasquez-Alcasid, Dingdong Avanzado, Christian Bautista, Poppert Bernadas, Noel Cabangon, Ryan Cayabyab Singers. Jose Mari Chan, The Company, Rj Dela Fuente, Krystle, Moira Lacambra, Kuh Ledesma, Gian Magdangal, Lara Maigue, Lani Misalucha, Martin Nievera, Randy Santiago, Aicelle Santos, Gary Valenciano and Maestro Ryan Cayabyab.

“The OPM (Organisasyon ng Pilipinong Mang-aawit) has been inactive since the start of the pandemic, but we hope to get things done through this online fundraising gig. We are ready to perform at a live concert.

“Sigurado na ‘yung unang artist who will do a live concert ay maiiyak pag nakita niya ang mga tao,” shared Ogie who is now a regular guest of “It’s Showtime”.

The singer admits to having been afraid during the pandemic. There was this feeling of uncertainty. Sure, he has savings, but he can’t help but worry all the same. To keep busy, Ogie has streamlined online.

“I didn’t do it for financial reasons. I did it to keep my sanity,” said better half Regine Velasquez.

Ogie is also preparing for a concert tour of the United States next year, from March through April.
